Place bacon in a large skillet. Cook over medium heat until brown. Set aside and cut into small pieces. Do not remove the oil from the pan.
Add potatoes to the same skillet, season with 1/4 teaspoon salt and 1/4 teaspoon pepper. Cook on medium heat until browned for about 20 minutes. Stir occasionally.
Stir in chopped crispy bacon and season with salt and pepper if needed.
