A simple Italian salad made of fresh mozzarella, tomatoes, basil, seasoned with balsamic vinegar, oil, salt and black pepper.

mixed cherry tomatoes
(cut in halves)
marinated bite-size fresh mozzarella cheese balls
(about cherry size ball, cheese only, remove juice) - feel free to add more cheese.
marinated oil from mozzarella balls
chopped fresh basil
(use more according to your liking)
In a large mixing bowl, add chopped cherry tomatoes, mozzarella balls, marinated oil, balsamic vinegar, sea salt and black pepper. Sprinkle with fresh basil and mix well until combined.
Cover and let marinate for at least 30 minutes in the refrigerator.
Season to taste with more salt and pepper if desired, and serve immediately.
Marinated Mozzarella Balls:
I purchased the Galbani brand at Costco.
If you want to use regular Mozzarella balls, you have to add about 4 tablespoons of olive oil into this recipe.
