¼teaspoonground cayenne pepper, (very mild) use more for a spicier blend
Instructions
In a small mixing bowl, combine all ingredients. Keep the unused portion in a tighty-sealed container and store in a dry and cool place.
Notes
You can use the entire blackening seasoning plus 1 tsp of salt (use more or less salt according to your liking) to season 4-5 large pieces of chicken or fish fillets. Properly stored, the homemade blackening seasoning will last up to 6 months.
