Roasted Broccoli

This roasted broccoli is a healthy side dish that you can make to accompany any main meal. The broccoli is lightly seasoned with salt, garlic, black pepper then finished up with crispy panko breadcrumb and parmesan cheese. It's healthy and tasty.

  • 1 pound broccoli florets
  • 2 tablespoon olive oil
  • ½ teaspoon kosher salt
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon minced garlic
  • ¼ cup panko breadcrumbs
  • ¼ cup grated parmesan cheese


  • Preheat the oven to 425°F.
  • Cut the broccoli florets into bite-sized pieces, trim and slice the stems. Wash and drain well.
  • Place broccoli in a large bowl. Add oil, salt, and black pepper. Toss to combine.
  • Spread the panko breadcrumbs into a large baking sheet then roast in the oven for 1 minute and 45 seconds. Remove from the oven and set aside.
  • Place broccoli into a large baking sheet then roasts for 6 minutes. Remove the baking sheet pan from the oven, add garlic and panko breadcrumbs. Continue cooking for 4-6 minutes or until crisp-tender.
  • Serve with grated parmesan cheese.
