  • an Air Fryer

  • 1 pound frozen shredded hashbrowns
  • ¼ cup olive oil , (please see the notes below)
  • 1 medium onion, (diced)
  • 1 red bell pepper, (diced)
  • 1 green bell pepper, (diced)
  • 1 tsp ground paprika
  • ½ tsp chili powder
  • ¼ tsp garlic powder
  • ¾ tsp salt
  • black pepper, (to taste)

  • Preheat the air fryer to 400°F.
  • Place all of the ingredients in the air fryer basket. Stir to combine. Cook for 20 minutes and shake the basket halfway through.
  • Open the basket and check the doneness. If it's not ready, shake the basket and cook it for another 3-5 minutes or until you reach your desired level of crispiness.

Storing: Cool the leftover hashbrowns to room temperature but no longer than two hours. Transfer the leftover to an airtight container, properly stored, it can last 3-5 days in the fridge or 4 months in the freezer.
Please note that cooking time will vary depending on a variety of other factors, including types of air fryers and air fryer quality.
To cut back the calories: Use a small amount of oil or use cooking spray as a replacement for oil.
