unsweetened almond milk, cashew milk or hemp milk

fresh turmeric root {recommended for smoother texture}

washed and grated (or use about 1 teaspoon dried turmeric)

Instructions
Combine almond milk, turmeric, ginger, cinnamon, black peppercorn, cardamom, vanilla extract and coconut oil in a medium saucepan, bring to a boil.
Reduce the heat to low and simmer for about 3-4 minutes
Remove from the heat. Stir and Serve with maple syrup or honey.
