Ingredients
 

  • 4 (4 oz each) chicken drumsticks, (pat chicken dry with paper towels)
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • ½ teaspoon ground cumin
  • ¼ teaspoon garlic powder
  • teaspoon coarse kosher salt, (I used Morton)
  • ¼ teaspoon ground black pepper

Instructions
 

  • In a mixing bowl, combine olive oil, ground cumin, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper.
  • Place the drumsticks in a large bowl or a zip-lock bag and pour the seasoning over them. Massage the seasoning onto the drumsticks for even coating.
  • Preheat your air fryer to 400°F.
  • Place the seasoned drumsticks on the air fryer crisper in a single layer.
  • Cook the drumsticks for 10 minutes, then flip and continue cooking for another 10 minutes or longer until the internal temperature reaches 165°F.

How to Cook Chicken Drumsticks in an Oven: 
  1. Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. Prepare Drumsticks: Season the drumsticks as mentioned above.
  3. Bake: Arrange seasoned drumsticks on a baking sheet or greased dish in a single layer. Bake in the preheated oven for about 40 minutes or until fully cooked, adjusting for size and oven variability.
Storage. When stored properly, cooked chicken drumsticks can stay fresh in the fridge for 3-4 days or in the freezer for up to 6 months.
