Orange Gin Recipe - Seagrams Extra Dry

3 from 1 vote

I’ve had a number of posts talking about planning out different theme parties, or how hosting a party for the big game takes preparing a day or two in advance.

I’m not ambitious enough to do that every time I host, and sometimes the most fun and successful gatherings we have don’t have any planning at all.

We try to stock our fridge with a few different protein options at all times and enough fresh veggies to enhance a dish or make a great salad on their own.

We invite our friends over and by about 1 or 2 pm we are usually on our way to conjuring up some good times. Keeping things flexible makes for a relaxed setting when I ask “surf or turf?” and having people help out with things it brings a nice community feel to the day.

The perfect match for a relaxed day with friends is Seagram’s Gin. It has a stellar taste that mixes well with everything from my bright, fruity concoctions to my husband’s dirty martinis and gin gimlets. In addition to its versatility, Seagram’s is a bottle that I put out and is instantly recognized by everyone, the name speaks for itself (I just learned that Seagram’s has been distilled in America since 1939!).

I have fun pairing Seagram’s with all sorts of dishes and have also had success with the different flavored varieties too. Grape, Red Berry and Peach (pictured) are three of my favorites, with the infused flavors that go a long way even with a simple mixer like a tonic.

My husband is, as you’d probably guess, a fan of the Seagram’s Lime Twisted Gin. Its tangy taste elevates the classic drinks and always puts a smile on his face.

So in the spirit of letting a Saturday afternoon with friends meander wherever it may, I raise my glass and wish you cheers. Below is a drink recipe that I hope you enjoy, one of many I’ve come up with that features Seagram’s Gin. It’s easy to make with just a handful of simple, quality ingredients.

Bring home Seagram's Gin and gather around Seagram's Gin.

I am curious about the cocktail. But honestly I have never had really good experiences with Gin. I know many people love it, but I just haven't liked it too much up till now. I'd be willing to try it in something like this though.

Oh wow. This drink looks absolutely delicious. I would love to try this, but with breastfeeding, it limits my alcohol intake. Maybe once I'm done providing nutrients for the little guy. <3
