Flame Grilled Burger with Chipotle Mayo. Easy summer grilling with Ball Park® Patties. Made with 100% all-natural* premium beef, served with crispy bacon, fresh veggies and homemade Chipotle mayo.
With the warm summer months ahead, it’s the perfect time to soak in the sun and gather with family and friends.
When the kids are on a summer break I usually slow down with my work so I can travel or keep the kids busy and active. That means more outdoor time and a little less time in the kitchen and a lot less screen time!
My husband and I always plan a few road trips during summer break. When the temperature gets too hot, we prefer to stay at home and make a staycation out of it. Staying at home during summer break isn’t always a bad thing. In-fact, it’s a great time to relax with get-togethers and having fun activities like hosting a summer grilling party in our backyard. My husband is not yet a master of the grill, but he’s steadily improving and will someday soon be able to check that box on his man card list. For the record, on the man card topic I think I’m better at grilling and also a better driver, but can’t throw a spiral for the life of me.
When hosting a summer grilling party, I usually go for a simple menu that is enjoyable by all guests and requires less time in the kitchen. That gives me some time to focus on fun and important things like a cornhole game with the kids, rather than meal prep. I don’t want to be the only person who is stressed out at the party, spending all of my time in the kitchen and missing the best moments of the day. Summer grilling has never been easier with Ball Park® Flame Grilled Beef Patties at Kroger. Ball Park and Kroger make it easy to get everything i need so I am prepared for an enjoyable, grilled summer meal at a moment’s notice. Who doesn’t love burgers and hot dogs?
Today, I am going to share this delicious Flame Grilled Burger with Chipotle Mayo recipe that will impress your guests! This burger is so easy to make. It’s flavorful and requires very little time in the kitchen. I used Ball Park Flame Grilled Beef Patties as the main ingredient that I purchased from Ralph’s store - located in the frozen aisle. Each bag contains 6 fully cooked patties that can be ready from the grill or microwave in minutes. They are great tasting burgers and make for a quick-fix meal. I first tried out the Ball Park brand with their franks, and was happy to see and taste the same quality in their burgers.
For this Flame Grilled Burger with Chipotle Mayo recipe, I made my own spicy mayonnaise from mayo, garlic, fresh lemon juice, and chipotle peppers in adobo sauce. This sauce recipe is so delicious and can be ready in less than 5 minutes. It gives it a completely different taste than ketchup or mustard. I didn’t use many of the chipotle peppers; you could adjust the amount up or down depending on whether or not your guests like some heat in their food. I also added fried onion rings as a topping to make this burger stands out and deliver more of a restaurant/bar style burger. You may use store-bought onion rings or skip it all to reduce the amount time in the kitchen. This burger will taste delicious with or without the onion rings.
I love the wow-factor of a big burger, and this one fits that bill with quite a few stacked layers! Some folks opt to serve a tall burger like this with a large, fancy toothpick holding it together, or using a knife for a more dramatic effect. Between the crunch of the onion rings, the crisp of the bacon and the creamy sauce, it delivers a nice range in each bite of the burger. Pickles are great on a burger but I don’t see them enough at backyard barbecues. Just like tomatoes, these and other fixings are so easy to grab and give your guests the ability to customize more as they seek out the perfect burger. By adding the sauce as an option, you give guests the ability to choose traditional or unique. Hopefully this recipe and your grilling party as a whole are home runs! Ball Park burgers are so good. We put them on the Foreman grill when we don’t feel like grilling outside. Not a huge fan of mayo but that chipotle mayo sounds pretty good.
