Step 1. Rinse the Brown Rice

It's very important to rinse your rice to remove impurities and debris. Rinsing will prevent the rice to clump together. As a result, the rice will have a better texture.

Secure the lid. Cook on Manual at High Pressure for 15 minutes, and natural release for 10 minutes.

Open the lid, make sure that the Instant Pot is completely off. Letting your IP in a "Warm" mode will cause the rice to turn dry and hard.
