Orange Turmeric Booster Shot
- 1 cup orange juice
- ⅛ cup ginger slices
- ⅛ cup turmeric slices
- ½ cup water
- 3 cloves
- 1 cinnamon stick
- 3 lemon verbena leaves use more according to your liking
- Honey I used about 1 ½ tablespoons
- In a saucepan, cook ginger, turmeric, water, cloves, cinnamon stick, lemon verbena leaves over low heat, simmer until liquid is reduced by about half. Turn off the heat immediately.
- Add orange juice, stir to combine. Strain the mixture into a glass/mug then serve with honey.
